Despite feeling tired today from a not-so-relaxing weekend, the good news I got from my salary increase letter lifted my spirits. I'm not too keen about posting how much J and I each make, but combined I can tell! :)
J's new salary took effect last week backdated to 1 Sept, whereas mine is backdated to 1 July! Our combined annual household income now is close to $142k.
The budget spreadsheet shows a lot of wiggle room now but we're not gonna wiggle. We have discussed and agreed that we're going to save as much as we can in these tight times.
