I could really bonk my head with a spoon after realizing that we already have close to $5k in savings! Geesh.
I was constantly looking at one savings account when we have 2. They total to around $4,689. Just a mere $311 to add and we have that $5k that I kept worrying about in my last post.
Our updated budget spreadsheet has a fixed savings contribution of $220 a fortnight. That would take care of building up our savings while putting away extra monies of at least $500 towards debt payments. We'll have around $1k extra from our travel allowance left by the time we return from vacation that I plan to pay debts with. That'll dent debt a bit.
