long weekend plans

This 3-day weekend will be spent in the Wairarapa region. We had already made 2 trips to Martinborough, which is one of the towns in the 'rapa for winery tours held every summer, but because we were invited by J's work friend to spend a weekend with them we decided sometime late last year to spend this specific weekend with them.

Here's the itinerary:

Day 1:

1. Featherston

2. Martinborough - need to pass through the town to go to Putangirua Pinnacles Scenic Reserve

3. Greytown - museums and Schoc, a chocolate cafe/shop that a coworker raves about

4. Carterton - I still can't find anything interesting in this town but we'll make the stop anyway

5. Masterton - to spend the rest of the afternoon and night with J's friend

Day 2:

Possibly spend morning with J for brunch then head out to see:

1. Pukaha Mount Bruce National Wildlife Centre

2. Castlepoint & Riversdale

Then head home. Monday will be spent just relaxing at home and doing a bit of house work. I'll post some pictures. :)
